Surgery Heals

Help Healing Happen extends the reach of Long Island’s North Fork Wine Country throughout the world. On behalf those who have no access to surgical medical relief except through the generosity of others, it works to increase awareness and raise funds for medical missions.

Surgery is Cost Effective

The World Health Organization (WHO) now states that surgery was neglected in developing countries partly due to faulty assumptions that sophisticated equipment was required and a lack of sufficient data indicating surgery could be cost-effective. Based on WHO’s recent country assessments, surgery is beginning to be seen as an integral part of primary health care, a preventive strategy and a cost-effective way of dealing with many of the health challenges specific to resource-poor settings.

The suffering can’t wait for all this to filter down
from WHO’s latest Global Initiatives.

Doctors, nurses and other medical support personnel from hospitals across America have recognized the value of surgical intervention with relatively low technology as a means to prevent death and disability. They have cost-effectively provided services to the suffering in Africa, Indonesia, Haiti, South America, China and the Mid-East.

We can’t depend on International Organizations to tell us what is right.
We know what to do and we know how to do it.

Is there any way to Help? Yes!

We can directly support those who heal. If you want your donations to go from your hands to the hands of a surgeon, there are ways to make it happen.

Is there any way to Heal? Yes!

Doctors, nurses and trained medical personnel have the skills, but we have the resources to put those skills to work. You may not wield a scalpel, but you can perform still heal.
